This was a great success, with approximately 50 tables in both the Swiss Pairs and the Swiss Teams, which we are delighted with. We hope that everyone who played enjoyed themselves.

Congratulations to joint winners Andy & Cathy Smith and Tony Gammon & Huw Oliver on winning the Swiss Pairs, and to Joe & Wendy Angseesing, Tony Hill & Martin Garvey on winning the Swiss Teams.

The Committee worked hard to help make it a success but we would also like to thank Ian Mitchell, Phil Green and Colin Simcox (and his wife) for their efforts in ensuring the bridge ran smoothly. In addition, thanks to UWE and its staff for providing the excellent facilities and to anyone else who helped with the organisation, running and set up/packing up (Gareth Evans and Nelson Stephens to name but a few). And finally to Bridgemate UK for sponsoring our scoring booklets free of charge.

We are aware that some sat navs may have led people to come in the wrong entrance but we did not discover that until the Saturday. We will bear that in mind for next year when we send out directions.
